The Semisubmersible Floating Production Facility (FPF) is an oil and gas processing platform for deep water operation in the Gulf of Mexico, Offshore Brazil or Southeast Asia.

The FPF design can be configured to perform LNG or CNG production and loading in conjunction with an existing facility or as a stand-alone solution. Water depth is considered to be less than 4000 feet, but the design can be adapted for deeper environments.

This FPF is moored by a traditional combination chain/wire catenary system consisting of prelaid wire and a shorter length of chain run from the vessel for field installation. Optionally, the unit may be moored on a combination mooring system consisting of steel and polyester components.
