B-Semi is our design of the conventional box type of semi-submersible that offers the most cost-effective unit for deepwater operations in most operating arenas. It has also been designed to operate in ultra deepwater in either the moored or dynamically positioned modes.
The structure has been designed to facilitate its construction in a most efficient and economical fashion. It is intended to provide the industry with an affordable and operationally superior solution to the continued upgrading of existing units.
Its operating characteristics and variable deck load capacity are sufficient to sustain drilling operations in either the Gulf of Mexico or other deep water areas of operation with the exception of environments similar to the North Sea.
